Maharashtra State urban development ministry has announced booking complaints and taking actions on 8 alleged employees of Jalgaon City Municipal Corporation having been reported to be involved in financial allegations in earlier Jalgaon municipal council as per Joshi Committee recommendation. The committee has named 91 alleged office bearers, employees and Councillors and State has appointed one-member Soni Committee to hear this case. State has sent this reference communication to Corporation Commissioner seeking views and justification in the reference to finalise. This announcement and news has spread panic in Corporation current Corporators as well as employees.
