Jalgaon district administration has announced 4 planned releases of Hatnur dam water for Rubby cultivation and crops. The current chilling climate condition has catalysed wheat and gram cultivations and district’s various water usages societies have also urged their member farmers to utilise this benefit and plan cultivation to get the best benefit.
District agricultural department has submitted 2.12 Crores losses estimates from 7 Tahsil in district and has sent this report to State authorities. This list includes 256 villages based 5,375 farmers in below 50% losses category on 2,022 hectares land and 6,853 farmers in 253 villages on 2,021 hectares land having suffered above this 50% mark losses.
