Jalgaon district administration has extended much talked sand auction in district following non-receipt of environmental clearance certificate from concerned department. Now the proposed auction would be on 21st December. Administration would need both State Pollution Control board and concerned State ministry approvals to move ahead. This auction has witnessed strong protest from many villages following lowering water levels and illegal trafficking during midnights.
