Dam water storage review:
Rising temperature and vaporisation is leading to sharp decrease in region’s most of dam. Until now Waghur, Bahula and Bhokarbari dam have turned to zero levels and these Dam are availing water from lowest reserved levels. Region’s major dam, Girana dam has 19% storage as of now wherein Hatnur has 38%, Suki has 60% storage. Current status of water storage is likely to cause slight water shortage in region’s few areas.
