Corporation to implement water supplies line laying project under urban reforms scheme:
Central government introduced UIDSSMT scheme based ambitious 2,100 Crores city developmental plan is in red lines and Corporation has not received any response for the same. Jalgaon city Municipal Corporation following this depression has planned to implement its proposed city new water supplies line lying under State government’s golden jubilee urban reforms scheme.
Corporation’s 211 Crores water supplies new line lying project under this scheme has mandatory 50% monetary participation of Corporation. This mandate has again put Corporation in fix as it’s already in debt burden and is finding pretty harder to repay JDCC bank loans. Administration is yet to announce its policy and action plan in the reference.
