District leaders demand Ankaleshwar – Burhanpur road conversion to National Highways:
Jalgaon district’s Parliament members have posted demand of conversion of Ankaleshwar – Burhanpur State Road#4 to National Highway to boost its development thereby reducing accidents in the region. The 380kms length Ankaleshwar (Gujarat) – Burhanpur (Madhya Pradesh) State Road largely crosses from Maharashtra and has 118kms area in Raver electoral constituency. It passes through Burhanpur, Raver, Yaval, Chopda, Shirpur, Shahada as major Taluka places and has around 30,000 to 40,000 large motor vehicles passing by it. State Highway and Road development Authority has already sent its proposal to National Authority on 29th March 2010.
