Jalgaon players in International badminton competition:
The Indian team comprising of 111 members selected for participation in international badminton competition at Canada from 21st until 28th August has Jalgaon based 4 players amongst it. This includes national player Sunil Rokade, Dr. Vrushali Patil, Rama Singh and Hemlata Patil. All these would move to Canada on 15th August. Sunil would play in above-50 men category and mixed doubles along with Pune player and Jalgaon’s Hemlata. Rama would play in above-45 and Vrushali in above-40 category. These four players have turned Northern Maharashtra’s only and very first group to be honoured for such participation.
