NMU Workshop on Ahirani language – a review:
North Maharashtra University languages department conducted a day workshop on various aspects in Ahirani language. The workshop had participants from Khandesh and Marathwada regions. The researchers in their discussion to the reference have expressed and claimed Ahirani to be a language of its own having base and used in spoken communication since Mahabharata times and is almost 5,000 years old language. It also explored various Ahirani originated words, grammar aspects, various communities, ornaments used in Ahirani literary available.
