Maharashtra State Government has notified formation of Varangaon municipal council and it has asked for comments and suggestions on the same. Leaders in region are expecting another two councils formation i.e. Muktai Nagar and Bodwad municipal council within coming week. Introduction of new council in Varangaon has cheered citizens and has raised hopes of good citizen centric amenities.
This announcement would form Jalgaon district’s largest municipal council with population above 40,000. Varangaon is known for being Government setup centric city having Ordnance factory and is located on NH-6. Currently it is ruled by BJP.
