Hockey association conducted junior hockey competition yesterday witnessed host Jalgaon defeating Satara by 3-2 with penalty stroke to mark inaugural victory. Jalgaon goal keeper Mohammed Sitar saved 3 strokes of opponent to lead this victory. With yesterday matches, Jalgaon, Nashik and Kolhapur have entered into semis of the competition. Nashik defeated Bid by 7-0, Thane defeated Parbhani by 11-0 and Usmanabad defeated Satara by 4-0 followed by Solapur winning on Nandurbar by 4-0. Pune team scored most of goals yesterday with over 12 goals against Latur. Nashik defeated Pune by 4-3.
