Banana jumps to Rs. 1,255 per quintal:
District’s banana continues to witness rising curve on pricing front amidst festivity around. It recorded hefty rise of Rs. 36 to jump at record new wholesale price of Rs. 1,255 per quintal at Raver market. Lower inflow of yield in markets in whole Khandesh is key reason and various festivity and fasts have added to demand. Kandebag banana touched 1,219 with Rs. 24 difference and Pilbaug touched 1,095 with Rs. 20 difference.
