Jalgaon city municipal corporation in its efforts to ease city traffic condition has announced doing two major changes in reservations. It has announced moving vegetables market in Subhash Chowk and Polan Peth to MIDC based transport Nagar area and move current Transport Nagar on Asoda road by putting special truck terminus reservation through acquisition of private land on Asoda Road.
Current city traffic conditions have worsened with sharp rise of two-wheelers and four wheelers in the city. Vegetable market spread has covered most of areas of Dana Bazaar area, Polan Peth, Subhash chowk major area and as a result these roads have turned of no use for traffic. Corporation general body is meeting on Monday, 18th April to take this and other developmental aspects on its agenda.
