Maharashtra State government has approved State’s first Dhule district based textile

State approves textile cluster at Shirpur:
Maharashtra State government has approved State’s first Dhule district based textile cluster development. This would lead good industrial boost in the Tahsil and would avail inflow of around 124 new textile units to avail the benefits. The proposed project has fibre to fabric processing and manufacturing cluster and would soon begin the construction work. State would avail 15 Crores special fund for development of the cluster.
Shirpur currently has around 124 power looms in small and medium size. The good cotton yields of district would add to benefit of these looms and cluster. Project would have setup at 10kms distance from Shirpur on Chopda road. Dhule also has sent proposal for edible oil cluster setup to have facilitation for peanuts, laboratory, cold storage and international standards.
