North Maharashtra University Jalgaon current Vice Chancellor tenure is ending in August and the administrative level efforts have begun for selection process. The interviews for VC post are usually conducted in July end and the committee comprises of one member each from State governor appointment, NMU management council, UGC, IIT and Central Human Resource development ministry and is formed in May. All nominations received until June end are considered for the post and interviews are initiated in the next phase.
The NMU management council has recommended Saurav Paul (IIT Kolkata), Dr. Yadav Hyderabad, Dr. Damodhar Acharya (IIT Kharagpur) for the post and most likely selection will any one of these nominees as they had good stay in Maharashtra.
