Rs. 1,200 Crores based electricity generation unit at Nardana:
Maharashtra Industrial development Corporation has in principal approved Shirpur Power Company’s proposal for setting up 85 hectares based 1,200 Crores cost electricity generation unit at Nardana of Dhule district. The unit would produce around 300 acres of electricity per day. Key attraction of Nardana land of MIDC is having Nardana-Surat railway line to bring coal for power generation along with Mumbai-Agra four lane national Highway. Authorities are in process of execution of papers for the same.
