State home ministry proposes Police Commissionerate for Jalgaon

: State home ministry seeing rising criminal offenses, lower resources to manage and secure region and maintaining Law and Order situation in Jalgaon has planned to setup Police commissioner office in Jalgaon. The proposed commissionerate will have 20kms range under its limits and will include Bhusawal city, Jamner based Gadegaon and Jalgaon Taluka based Mhsavad and Paldhi police along with Jalgaon Taluka police station in its periphery. District Police has sent its proposal to Mumbai and this is likely to be approved on Solapur pattern for introduction of separate commissioner office. This proposed initiating will divide Jalgaon district’s police control in two zones namely Commissionerate and Jalgaon rural as two divisions. New office will get separate Police Commissioner, Officers and staffing and same way Jalgaon rural will also have separate resources. Jalgaon’s largest boundary area covering Jilha Peth Police station is most likely to be divided in two parts with introduction of Pimprala police station shortly.
