No entry introduced for heavy motor vehicles on Ring Road:
Rising number of accidents leading to on the spot deaths of youth groups and citizen’s rage of administrative authorities on non-planning has led to unanimous decision of permanent No-Entry on Ring Road to all heavy motor vehicles as per decision announced in joint meeting conducted by district Collectorate. The meeting also invoked need of safe driving awareness camps especially in colleges to encourage safety approach in youths.
All heavy loaded vehicles would be diverted from railways unloading station via Nimkhedi road towards Dadawadi and then national highway. Till this road work gets completed heavy vehicles would have entry on ring road from 12pm to 4pm and 8pm to 7am in morning. Ajanta crossing to Shivaji Nagar road has no entry for such vehicles from 7am to 12pm and 4pm to 8pm.
