Monsoon 2011 update – 90% raining in region:
Jalgaon district has received 90% of its average rainfall till 21st September 2011 and the soil here is wet and fertile enough. The last month led raining has ushered new life in agriculture here and agricultural department has estimated around 20% growth in cultivation area in Rubby season. This would add around 30,000 hectares based more yields during season.
